By Invitation

A table you are asked to join

Royal Oak does not run open, marketed funds. Opportunities are offered to a limited group of investors who meet our criteria and are invited to participate — investing alongside the principal, on the same terms.

Invitation is not ceremony; it is how the model works. Each vehicle is sized to its transaction, not to a fundraising target, so the number of seats is genuinely limited — and we would rather leave a seat empty than fill it with misaligned capital.

Criteria

Who we invite

Four things we look for before extending an invitation.

Wholesale eligibility

Invitations are extended only to wholesale, sophisticated or professional investors within the meaning of sections 708 and 761G of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) — institutions, family offices and qualifying private investors.

Commitment scale

Minimum investment is typically $250,000 AUD, with higher minimums applying to specific trusts. Investor commitments typically range from $500,000 to $5 million, and most invited investors participate across multiple vehicles over time.

Alignment of horizon

Every Royal Oak vehicle established to date is closed-ended and illiquid for its term. We invite investors whose capital genuinely suits that horizon — and decline interest where it does not.

Relationship over transaction

We invest alongside our investors for years at a time. The relationship starts with a conversation, not a subscription form — and discretion runs in both directions.

The Process

How invitation works

Four steps, at your pace. No offer material changes hands until eligibility is verified.

  1. Register

Register your interest below. Your details are held in confidence and are never used for marketing.

  2. Conversation

A principal will speak with you about your objectives, eligibility and horizon — and answer the questions you should be asking us, including on governance and track record.

  3. Verification

Wholesale or sophisticated-investor status is verified (typically by a qualified accountant’s certificate) before any offer material is provided.

  4. Invitation

When an opportunity fits, you receive the Information Memorandum and the same terms as the principal — with time to do your own diligence before committing.

The Relationship

What an invited investor receives

Fewer investors, more substance. The invited relationship is deliberately closer than a fund register entry.

  • Access to opportunities that are never publicly marketed, alongside the principal’s own capital
  • The Information Memorandum for each offer, with the thesis, structure, risks and fees stated plainly
  • The same entry, terms and exit as the principal (any vehicle-specific variation stated in its IM)
  • Direct access to the people who originate, underwrite and manage each investment
  • Institutional-standard reporting: regular investor updates, distribution statements and annual tax statements
  • First consideration for future vehicles as the platform’s pipeline converts

When no offer is open, registration places you in consideration for invitation to the next opportunity. When one is open, it starts the conversation.
