Responsible Investment
Better buildings, better futures
Sustainability at Royal Oak is not a report appendix — it is underwritten. Greener buildings lease faster, hold tenants longer and value higher, so responsible investment and capital preservation point the same way.
Commitments
What we commit to
Three commitments, carried from our founding objectives into every vehicle.
Sustainable development
Minimising the environmental impact of every project and optimising green certification across investment assets — because efficiency and certification now flow directly into tenant demand and valuation.
Building communities
Backing projects that create jobs and infrastructure, bringing people and prosperity to growing communities across Australia.
Responsible stewardship
Acting honestly and fairly to the highest standards of ethics and quality — with the transparency of a manager whose own capital sits beside its investors’.
In Practice
Evidence, not aspiration
Green outcomes already embedded in Royal Oak vehicles and advisory work.

Community
Giving back is in the DNA
Royal Oak and its founder, Alex Gismondi, support a range of charitable causes — alongside the communities Royal Oak develops in and the projects it builds.
Ronald McDonald House Charities
Supported through regular Gold Sponsorship, helping families stay close to their children during hospital treatment.
Telethon
Supported through regular donations, funding children’s health research, treatment and services across Western Australia.
Other causes, considered case by case
Further causes are supported from time to time. Giving back sits at the core of the business, of the communities Royal Oak develops in, and of how the team wants to operate.
It extends to what gets built: a neighbourhood centre with a medical centre and pharmacy, a residential sub-division master-planned around public open space and a community playground, and a large-format centre that anchored a growing regional catchment.
The causes named above are examples of the support Royal Oak and its founder provide, rather than a fixed or exhaustive commitment. Charitable support is determined from time to time and may change.
